The traffic accident happened today, July 8, around 2:30 a.m. in one of the villages of the Sambir district.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the VAZ-21099 car, a 33-year-old local resident, failed to control the vehicle – the vehicle left the roadway, where it collided with a tree.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the car received injuries from which he died. His two female passengers, aged 23 and 24, were taken to the hospital with injuries.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
An investigation is underway, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
