
A rescue officer, Andriy Pidzharok, has started his work in the Busk urban territorial community.
Community Rescue Officer — this is a new key figure in the civil protection system, a specialist from the State Emergency Service, who works directly in the community. He coordinates the actions of services, conducts preventive and educational work, responds to emergencies, and actively interacts with residents to create a safe environment.
The main duties of the community rescue officer include: conducting explanatory work on fire and technogenic safety issues, educating the population on how to behave during emergencies, organizing preventive measures, coordinating the actions of services during the elimination of the consequences of emergencies, acting as a contact person between the community and units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, participating in the implementation of local safety programs and conducting educational campaigns, promoting the creation of voluntary fire brigades.
Thanks to the implementation of this initiative, the community will receive an additional level of safety and quick response to emergencies.
