Architectural Landmark in Kamianka-Buzka Under Legal Protection

In Kamianka-Buzka, the Zhovkva District Prosecutor’s Office ensured the legal protection of a locally significant architectural landmark. Thanks to their intervention, a protection agreement was signed for an administrative building from the early 20th century, known as the ‘Revolutionary Committee House’.

This architectural landmark, constructed in 1911-1912 according to the project by Oleksandr Lushpynskyi, was added to the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine in August 2025. It once played an important role in the social and cultural life of the city as the People’s House.

Notably, the city council of Kamianka-Buzka had long refrained from signing a protection agreement with the relevant department, which would have ensured the safeguarding and preservation of this building’s authenticity. However, following the prosecutor’s intervention, the city council signed the necessary agreement with the LODA Department, allowing the case to be closed.
