The traffic accident happened on June 15 at about 5 pm on Bohdanivska Street.
According to police, a Volkswagen driven by a 29-year-old resident of the Stryi district and an Audi driven by a 43-year-old resident of the Lviv district collided. As a result of the accident, a 63-year-old Audi passenger was injured and taken to hospital.
In fact, investigators of the Lviv District Police Department №1 opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
A pre-trial investigation is underway, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
