Patrol officers stopped a driver on Chornovil Avenue for a traffic violation.
Last evening on Chornovil Avenue, patrol officers stopped a Daewoo Nexia car. The driver violated traffic rules by transporting unbuckled young children. The stop was made on the sidewalk.
During the conversation with the 34-year-old driver, patrol officers detected signs of alcohol intoxication. “The man admitted that he had consumed alcohol that day,” patrol officers reported. A test on the Drager device showed 1.68 per mille, but the driver disagreed with the result. In a medical facility, the device showed 1.83 per mille.
The citizen was issued a citation under part 10 of article 121 “Violation of child transportation” and a protocol under part 1 of article 130 “Driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol” of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine.
