The Lviv Prosecutor’s Office has notified a 33-year-old man of suspicion in the murder of his friend.
According to the investigation, on July 12 in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Lviv, the suspect killed his 32-year-old friend. The men were consuming alcohol, after which a conflict escalated into a fight. The suspect inflicted seven stab wounds on the victim, resulting in death on the spot.
Law enforcement officers detained the attacker according to procedure. The decision is being made regarding the preventive measure of detention without the right to bail.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by police department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Administration.
According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of a crime until proven guilty in a lawful manner.
