The Appeals Court upheld the first-instance decision regarding the demolition of a store near the ‘Kam’yanka’ waterfall.
With the involvement of the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor’s Office of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Appeals Court confirmed the decision to free up the land plot. This lawsuit was filed by the Stryi District Prosecutor’s Office against a local entrepreneur. ‘The entrepreneur is obliged to dismantle the illegally constructed building,’ the court’s decision stated.
The plot, located near the ‘Kam’yanka’ waterfall, is part of the Skole Beskids National Nature Park. It was established that the entrepreneur occupied the land without permits, which belongs to the protective strip of the Kam’yanka riverbank. He constructed a single-story wooden frame for commercial use.
The court agreed with the prosecutor, leaving the previous ruling in place. The prosecution plans to ensure the implementation of this decision.
