The Commercial Court of Lviv Region satisfied the claim of the Yavoriv District Prosecutor’s Office regarding the return of funds for overpriced coal.
In 2022, a contract for the purchase of coal was concluded between a private enterprise and the ‘Yavoriv Central District Hospital’. However, prosecutors found that the cost of coal for heating the facility was doubled. **The contractor was excessively paid more than 1 million UAH.**
The prosecution, responding to the violation of the territorial community’s interests, filed a claim in court, which was fully satisfied. *Once the decision comes into legal force, measures will be taken to ensure its immediate execution.*
