A 28-year-old resident of Boryslav was found guilty of evading conscription for military service during mobilization (Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) following a public indictment by the prosecutors of the Drohobytsk District Prosecutor’s Office.
He was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
It was established that in October of last year, the military medical commission examined the convict and found him fit for military service.
Accordingly, at the same time he was served with a military summons, according to which he had to appear for general mobilization.
However, the man did not appear at the territorial recruitment and social support center for his service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine without a good reason. Therefore, the conscript violated the requirements of the current legislation and evaded military conscription.
