
Near Lviv, a fire broke out at a private property, which rescuers fully extinguished with no casualties.
On 3 August at 11:37, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a summer kitchen catching fire in the village of Zapytiv in Lviv district.
Fire and rescue units from Lviv and the local fire brigade from the village of Novyi Yarychiv were dispatched to the scene. By the time they arrived, the fire had engulfed the wooden structures of the summer kitchen and spread to the garage, which shared the same roof, creating a threat to the neighbouring building.
Due to the intense burning and heavy smoke, the operation was complicated, but rescuers managed to contain the fire at 12:50 and fully extinguish it at 13:02.
No one was injured as a result of the incident. Specialists are establishing the causes and circumstances of the fire.
