On December 13, at approximately 6:20 p.m., a fatal road accident occurred on the Lviv–Sambir–Uzhhorod highway, near the village of Tershiv in the Sambir district.
According to preliminary reports, a Renault Kangoo driven by a 60-year-old resident of the Sambir district collided with an Etalon bus operated by a 38-year-old man from the city of Sambir.
As a result of the crash, the driver of the minivan died at the scene from sustained injuries. The bus driver and passengers were not injured.
Sambir district police are investigating the incident and working to establish all the circumstances of the collision. The legal classification of the event is currently under consideration.
