The 22-year-old suspect faces up to ten years of imprisonment with confiscation of property for the crime
On November 9, law enforcement officers arrested the perpetrator in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine on Zamarstinivska Street in Lviv. She had with her 2 zip bags and 98 rolls of a powdery substance similar to the psychotropic substance “PVP”. Everything removed is directed to expert research.
Investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 informed the detainee of the suspicion of committing a crime provided for in Part 2 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of six to ten years with confiscation of property.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and soon the court will choose a preventive measure for the suspect.
