Got into an accident, and the culprit ran away – don’t get lost and call the patrol
One more thank you to our inspectors from the Department of Investigation and Processing of Traffic Accident Materials from a Lviv woman. The police found the person who hit her car.
This was reported to the Patrol Police of the Lviv Region.
On March 11, the driver contacted line 102 and reported that her Volkswagen Jetta hit a Mercedes-Benz. The event took place in the parking lot of one of the shopping centers on Naukova Street.
The patrolmen who came to the call interviewed eyewitnesses who, unfortunately, did not remember the fugitive’s number plates and issued the materials of the accident investigation.
This case was transferred to the previously mentioned department. In a few days, the police searched for the culprit. A 28-year-old man from Lviv, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz E220, was charged with two protocols: under Article 124 (Violation of traffic rules that led to an accident) and under Article 122-4 (Leaving the scene of an accident) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The offender must be responsible for their actions and pay for the damages, so call the police.
