We continue to document parking violations in spaces designated for people with disabilities.
We remind you that this right is reserved for drivers with disabilities or those transporting people with disabilities. Vehicles must display identification signs ‘Driver with Disability’. Drivers or passengers must have documents confirming the disability.
Drivers who intentionally or negligently park in disabled spaces without justification are issued fines. The fines range from 1020 to 1700 UAH. Such vehicles are subject to towing in the absence of the driver.
Reminder: Stopping or parking in disabled spaces is prohibited; creating obstacles for parking or stopping a vehicle is also prohibited. The use of the identification sign ‘Driver with Disability’ on a vehicle without proper basis is forbidden.
