An incident occurred on Teslenka Street in Lviv between citizens and the patrol police.
Officers stopped a driver for a traffic violation and discovered during the check that the man was wanted under Article 210 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (“Violation by Conscripts or Reservists of Legislation on Military Duty and Service”).
The driver agreed to accompany the officers for further clarification but made a phone call beforehand. Shortly after, a group of citizens arrived at the scene and began obstructing the police, pulling on their uniforms and taking a body camera from one officer.
The driver complained about his health, prompting a call for medical assistance. Paramedics examined him and confirmed that there was no threat to his health or life. The man then voluntarily proceeded to the Territorial Recruitment Center for data clarification.
The police emphasized that no physical force or special means were used against the citizens.
An investigative team was called to the scene to determine all circumstances. The actions of those involved will be legally assessed.
