Police are investigating the circumstances of a fight that occurred at a gas station in Sambir.
The incident took place on January 23 around 14:40 at one of the gas stations in Sambir. As initially established by the police, a conflict arose between two 24-year-old residents of Sambir and a 52-year-old resident of the Sambir district along with his 20-year-old son due to a misunderstanding during the refueling of cars, which escalated into a fight.
On this fact, investigators from the Sambir district police department have initiated a criminal case under part 2 of article 296 “Hooliganism” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article prescribes a penalty of restriction of freedom for up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.
Pre-trial investigation continues as law enforcement officers establish all circumstances of the incident.
