Police in Ukraine have uncovered large-scale corruption schemes in nine regions of the country.
In recent days, law enforcement has carried out anti-corruption measures, uncovering 13 criminal schemes in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Cherkasy, Volyn, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, and Zakarpattia regions. Employees of the National Police’s Department of Strategic Investigations, together with colleagues, continue systematic work to counteract criminal schemes, particularly those related to evasion of military service, organization of illegal border crossings, and abuse of power.
Offenders were caught receiving bribes ranging from 2,400 UAH to 16,000 USD per person. Those involved face up to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
