In the village of Krekhiv in the Lviv district, a fire broke out in a two-storey residential building. The report of the incident was received on 11 April 2026 at 11:08. By the time the firefighters arrived, the fire had engulfed the roof and the second floor’s ceiling.
The fire was localised by 12:36 and completely extinguished by 13:30. As a result of the fire, the roof and the second floor’s ceiling were destroyed, but the firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to neighbouring buildings.
Three units of equipment and seven personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire. Firefighters urge citizens to adhere to fire safety rules, not to overload electrical networks, to ensure the proper functioning of stove heating, and not to leave electrical appliances unattended.
