
In the village of Nyzhnya Yablunka in the Sambir district, a fire broke out in a residential building. The report was received by the rescuers on 8th April at 22:13. Professional firefighters from the town of Borynia and the city of Turka, as well as the local fire brigade, were dispatched to the scene.
When the first unit arrived, the roof of the house was already completely engulfed in flames, which were rapidly spreading through the wooden structures. There was a threat of the fire spreading to a neighbouring building. By 23:41, the fire was localised, and by 01:11 on 9th April, it was completely extinguished, saving the nearby outbuilding from the flames.
Eight rescuers and two units of special equipment from the State Emergency Service, as well as one worker and one unit of equipment from the local fire brigade, were involved in extinguishing the fire. Fortunately, no one was injured.
