Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Stryi district prosecutor’s office, a 33-year-old man was notified of the suspicion of illegal possession and sale of psychotropic substances (part 1 of article 307, part 2 of article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
According to the investigation, the man was engaged in the sale of psychotropic drugs in one of the villages of the Stryi OTG. Amphetamine was sold at a personal meeting.
During the search of the suspect’s place of residence, a weighing and packaging tool with powdery substance remains, a crystalline powdery substance and cash were found and seized.
Investigative actions are ongoing, the issue of appointing a number of examinations and selecting a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect is being resolved.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the Stryi district police department of the National State Administration of Ukraine in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subject to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
