Prosecutors in the Lviv region have filed lawsuits against developers for avoiding the payment of share participation fees.
It was found that in the region, companies built a number of multi-apartment residential complexes, which were subsequently put into operation. However, they ignored the obligation to pay share participation in the development of the engineering, transport, and social infrastructure of settlements.
In 2025, prosecutors in the Lviv region filed 43 lawsuits in courts, initiating the recovery from developers of about 196 million UAH of unjustifiably retained funds to local budgets. To date, 23 lawsuits amounting to almost 89 million UAH have been considered and satisfied.
Notably, the lawsuit claims of the prosecutors of the Halytskyi, Frankivskyi district prosecutor’s offices of Lviv city, and the Zolochiv district prosecutor’s office were found to be justified. It should be noted that also, at the stage of reviewing such court cases, 3 proceedings were closed due to the voluntary payment of a debt of 13.4 million UAH by the defendants.
Additionally, in execution of court decisions on the prosecutors’ lawsuits, 15.9 million UAH of these payments have already been made. Work in this direction continues.
