Due to the principled position of prosecutors from the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the appellate instance proved the guilt of a former allergist doctor from one of Lviv’s hospitals in demanding and receiving undue advantage. This is reported by lviv.gp.gov.ua.
According to investigators, the doctor demanded and received 3,000 US dollars for providing a conscription liable individual with a conclusion of unfitness for service due to health reasons. The court of first instance found her guilty, and the appellate court upheld the sentence.
