The court upheld the claim of the Chervonograd District Prosecutor’s Office for recovery from illegal possession and return to communal ownership of a plot of land worth almost UAH 1 million.
Prosecutors proved in court that the head of one of the former territorial communities forged the decision of the village council session. As a result, a number of lands were illegally removed from the communal property of the community, which were transferred free of charge to private ownership to citizens and relatives of the latter.
The court supported the position of the prosecutor and completely satisfied the claim.
For reference, we note that the prosecutor’s office filed a number of similar lawsuits against land owners in 2023. In particular, about claims from illegal possession and return to communal ownership of land.
Some of the claims have already been satisfied by the courts.
