At the border with Poland, border guards uncovered an unusual marital story.
During the inspection of passengers on the Kyiv-Przemyśl train, border guards from the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment noticed a 47-year-old native of the Luhansk region. He was traveling to Spain with a disabled woman who turned out to be his recently married wife and the sister of his former spouse.
According to available information, the man divorced at the end of 2024 and by early 2025 had remarried the sister of his ex-wife. The woman traveling with him is a person with a second-degree disability. However, during document checks, border guards discovered that the woman was allegedly abroad when her disability status was renewed in Ukraine.
The information has been passed on to the relevant competent authorities for further investigation and clarification of all circumstances.
