In the Yavoriv district, rescuers extricated a deceased person and an injured individual following a traffic accident.
On August 15 at 5:42 PM, the Rescue Service ‘101’ received a report of a collision between two vehicles in the village of Yasnyska. The accident involved a ‘VAZ 1300’ and a ‘Chevrolet Captiva’, with people trapped inside needing assistance. Rescuers from Lviv and the village of Bryukhovychi arrived at the scene.
At the scene, it was found that the accident had trapped the deceased driver – a man born in 1968, and a passenger, a woman born in 1970 who needed medical assistance, within the deformed structures of the ‘VAZ’ vehicle. Using special tools, rescuers cut through the vehicle’s structures to extricate the people.
Seven rescuers and two units of special equipment were involved in resolving the aftermath of the traffic accident.
