Lviv Region Rescuers Extinguished 85 Fires in One Day

In the Lviv region, a total of 85 fires occurred over the last 24 hours, including in ecosystems, some of which resulted in the death of one person and injuries to another. This was reported by the Lviv State Emergency Service.

Thanks to the swift response of the rescuers, eight buildings and one car were saved from the flames. However, citizens need to remain vigilant, as every “controlled” burn of dry grass has consequences: risks to people, exhaustion of rescuers, and environmental damage. The danger of fire is not limited to the destruction of grass — at any moment, it could threaten your homes or lives.

Now, as nature awakens from its winter slumber, humans’ harmful attitudes only worsen the situation. Residents of the region are reminded that they must become custodians of their land, not its executioners.
