The Security Service of Ukraine blocked new schemes of evasion from mobilization and illegal travel abroad by men of military age.
As a result of complex measures, organizers of the schemes were detained in different regions of Ukraine. The dealers offered conscripts to escape to the European Union on the basis of forged documents or bypassing checkpoints.
The cost of such “services” was estimated at 3 to 10 thousand US dollars. The amount depended on the urgency and method of escape.
Thanks to the SBU’s prompt response, more than 50 potential conscripts were prevented from being smuggled abroad.

SBU neutralized a criminal group, which included two officials of Kyiv medical institutions and the head of a local NGO.
The defendants fabricated medical reports for their clients that they had serious diagnoses.
The fake documents were then submitted to the center of medical and social expertise to establish disability groups 2 or 3 for the fugitives.
They planned to use the fake documents to illegally leave Ukraine to hide from mobilization.

three more officials of local hospitals were exposed for selling fake medical certificates on mental illness.
In order to hide the “scheme” as much as possible, its organizers falsely issued hospitalization and discharge certificates for their clients.

“Another medical worker was detained red-handed for selling fake medical and social examination reports on disability groups.
🔹 In Cherkasy region:
The head of a private construction company was exposed. In exchange for money, she assisted in obtaining disability certificates for women of potential conscripts.
Thus, their husbands planned to go abroad as accompanying persons.
🔹 In Khmelnytskyi region:
A local barber was detained for organizing the smuggling of evaders to the EU for money.
In confidential conversations, he offered his clients “help” in fleeing abroad. His accomplice provided crossing outside the checkpoints.
The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
The operation was conducted jointly with the National Police under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
