The Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region neutralized the activities of hostile Internet agitators who deliberately incited national enmity and hatred
The special service exposed two more accomplices of the enemy, who took an active part in the destructive information campaigns of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. They turned out to be residents of Lviv Oblast.
Using accounts in social networks, the perpetrators intensified Russian propaganda by mass spreading Kremlin narratives among Ukrainians. In particular, they “dispersed” calls for support of enemy troops, justified the crimes of the occupiers and denied armed aggression.
The female figures were informed of suspicions of committing crimes under Part 2 and Part 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) and part 1 of Art. 161 (violation of equal rights of citizens depending on their racial, national, regional belonging, religious beliefs, disability and on other grounds) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigations are ongoing.
