Cyber specialists of the Security Service exposed another supporter of racism in Lviv, who justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and the temporary occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine.
This was reported to the SBU.
The perpetrator was the former secretary of the regional committee of the outlawed Communist Party of Ukraine.
In 2014, he was active in political activity and even ran for the Verkhovna Rada.
But after an unsuccessful attempt to get a deputy’s mandate, the “party” functionary “disappeared from the air” for a long time.
However, after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he began to publicly support Russian armed aggression.
It was established that he spread hostile propaganda through his own page on the banned Odnoklassniki social network.
In order to conspire illegal actions, he created several fake accounts, which he used for further subversive activities in favor of the aggressor country.
In addition, in his “posts” the attacker praised the aggressive policy of the head of the Kremlin, was “nostalgic” for the former USSR and justified the seizure of parts of the southern regions of Ukraine.
On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed the suspect of suspicion under five articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
▪️ Part 2 Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
▪️ Part 1 Art. 161 (violation of equal rights of citizens depending on their race, nationality, religious beliefs, disability and on other grounds);
▪️ Art. 436 (war propaganda);
▪️ Part 2 Art. 436-1 (repeated dissemination of communist and Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and National Socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes);
▪️ Part 2, Part 3 Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
Currently, the case materials have been sent to the court. The perpetrator faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
