The Security Service of Ukraine reports on the activation of Russian special services in recruiting Ukrainians.
In particular, the enemy has increased the number of ‘false flag’ operations, posing as employees of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies. They force citizens to prepare arson, terrorist acts, and sabotage.
During such operations, Russians call or write to people, pretending to be employees of the SBU, GUR, NABU, National Police, and other agencies. They use dating sites to obtain personal data, blackmail with criminal liability, and demand money to close fake ‘criminal cases.’
The Security Service of Ukraine urges citizens to maintain information hygiene and approach contacts with unknown persons with caution. In case of suspicious offers, immediately report it to the SBU via the ‘Burn a FSB agent’ chatbot or by calling 0 800 501 482.
