The Security Service of Ukraine exposed the head of one of the medical communal institutions of Lviv region. The doctor demanded an illegal benefit for the preparation of documents that provide grounds for exemption from military service in wartime.
According to operative information, it became known that the doctor organized a “profitable business” using his official position. The attacker produced certificates stating that men could not be called up in wartime due to unfitness for military service.
Militiamen detained the dealer at the crime scene according to Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine while receiving the full amount of the bribe.
The person involved in the case was informed about the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of illegal benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and a measure of restraint was chosen.
As of today, the doctor has been fired from the post of chief physician.
Detection measures were carried out by operatives of the Security Service of Ukraine of Lviv Region together with investigators of the National Police under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office
