Seven people were injured as a result of a road traffic accident in the Lviv district.
The accident occurred on August 16 around 10:40 am on the Kyiv-Chop highway in the village of Hamaliivka. According to preliminary data, a BMW driven by a 27-year-old resident of Kyiv collided with a Tesla driven by a 40-year-old resident of Zolochiv. Following this, the BMW collided with a MAN truck driven by a 66-year-old resident of the Lviv district due to inertia.
As a result of the accident, the drivers of the passenger cars, a passenger of the BMW, a 26-year-old resident of Kyiv, and the passengers of the Tesla: residents of Zolochiv aged 27 and 44, as well as residents of Ternopil region – a 40-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man – sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalized.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances and the issue of legal qualification of the event is being resolved.
