Users have started receiving SMS messages purportedly from the Telegram administration, notifying them of “rule violations”. This is part of a new phishing scheme aimed at stealing your data.
Fraudsters create a false sense of urgency by sending messages about violations and “account blocking within 24 hours”. They disguise links using fake addresses that visually resemble official ones and request confidential data through counterfeit authorisation forms.
To keep your account secure, do not click on suspicious links, use two-factor authentication, and maintain digital hygiene by entering data only in the official app. It is important to remember that Telegram never sends SMS with links. All official notifications are sent only within the app itself from the service chat.
Take care of your digital security and warn your loved ones!
