A traffic accident occurred in the Lviv region, resulting in injuries to six individuals.
The accident happened on June 24 around 07:00 in the city of Dublyany. According to preliminary data, a Volkswagen Passat B7, driven by a 29-year-old Lviv resident, collided with a Mercedes-Benz 609D driven by a 52-year-old resident of one of the villages in the Lviv region.
As a result of the accident, six passengers of the Mercedes-Benz 609D sustained bodily injuries. Among the injured were female residents of the Lviv region aged 23 and 45, a 63-year-old resident of one of the villages in the Lviv region, female residents of the Zolochiv district aged 20 and 56, and a 67-year-old Lviv resident. All of them were taken to the hospital.
Following the accident, investigators from Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv Regional Police Department No. 1 opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. **The maximum penalty** under this article is restriction of liberty for up to three years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Law enforcement officers continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
