A tragic road traffic accident occurred in the village of Demnya, Stryi district, resulting in the death of a 67-year-old Energi Power electric scooter driver. The incident happened on 14 April at around 16:00.
According to preliminary data, the man lost control, veered off the road, and crashed into a rubbish bin. He died at the scene from his injuries.
Investigators from police department No. 2 of the Stryi district police department have opened a criminal case under Article 291 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding traffic violations. Law enforcement officers continue to establish the circumstances of the incident.
