On 23 September, at 05:46, it was reported that a VAZ 2106 and a Renauit Fluence had collided near the village of Vidnyky, Lviv district.
As a result of the accident, there were deaths and injuries. The rescuers working at the scene used hydraulic scissors and a clamp to unblock the body of the 43-year-old VAZ driver from the mangled car. In order to prevent a fire, the rescuers disconnected the car’s batteries.
Five rescuers and one unit of special equipment were engaged to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the causes and circumstances of the accident.
