A fatal road traffic accident occurred in the Lviv region.
Today, September 29, around 11:50, on the Mostyska-Sambir-Boryslav-Drohobych highway in the village of Vilshanyk in the Sambir district, a collision took place. **Law enforcement officers** established that a Mercedes-Benz 313 CDI minibus, driven by a 24-year-old resident of the Lviv region, collided with a VAZ 21099 car driven by a 67-year-old resident of the Lviv region.
As a result of the accident, the car driver died at the scene, and his passenger, a 52-year-old resident of the Lviv region, sustained injuries and was hospitalized. Investigators opened a criminal proceeding under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The article’s sanction provides for a penalty of imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.
