Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders
🕯Oleg Yakymiv
He lived in the village of Rikhtychi, Drohobych community. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 7 February, 2024. He was the senior shooter-operator of the 1st Ranger Battalion. He went missing on 6 May 2024 while performing a combat mission near the village of Semenivka, Pokrovsk district. He was 37 years old.
🕯Petr Shpak
A native of the village of Dudyn, Zolochiv district. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 1 June 2024. He held the position of sniper of the 2nd mechanised battalion of the military unit A4447. He died on 21 January. The warrior was 34 years old.
Mykhailo Korlo
A resident of Lviv. He lived in the village of Vynnychky, Lviv region. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the 33rd separate mechanised brigade to defend the state. He fought against the occupiers in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. In 2024, he was awarded the Cross of the Brave Badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for conscientious performance of military duty. He died on 21 January.
He was 52 years old.
