A tragic road accident occurred in the Lviv region, resulting in the death of a tractor driver.
The accident happened on November 3 at around 14:30 in the village of Ternavka, Stryi district. According to preliminary data, the driver of the DW244ATM tractor, a 51-year-old local resident, lost control. He went off the dirt road and into a ditch, where the vehicle overturned.
The tractor driver died at the scene from sustained injuries. Investigators from police unit No.3 of the Stryi district police department have initiated criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 286 ‘Violation of traffic safety rules’ of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
