Three people were injured as a result of a traffic accident near Truskavets, the circumstances of which are being investigated by the police.
The accident occurred on June 19 around 1:00 PM on the Skhidnytsia-Pisochne highway near the city of Truskavets in the Drohobych district. According to preliminary data, the vehicles involved were a Nissan Teana driven by a 60-year-old resident of Lviv and a Honda Accord driven by a 31-year-old resident of Boryslav.
As a result of the accident, the drivers of both cars and a passenger of the Honda Accord, a 49-year-old resident of Boryslav, sustained bodily injuries and were taken to the hospital. Investigators from the Drohobych district police department have opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for up to three years of imprisonment with the revocation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
