Three Residents of Lviv Region Charged with Disrupting Mobilization Efforts via Viber

Judicial Pursuit for Anti-Mobilization Activities in Lviv Region

In the Lviv region, the prosecutor’s office has completed the pre-trial investigation and submitted cases to the court against three individuals aged 37 and 46, charged with interfering in the activities of the Armed Forces. According to part one of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, these individuals operated Viber channels aimed at informing about mobilization events in the Yavoriv and Drohobych districts.

Special Services Operation

The investigation revealed that the accused used the social platform to publish information about the whereabouts of personnel from the TCK and SP, as well as the timing of mobilization activities, encouraging evasion of duties among TCK and SP workers.

Consequences of Activities

The actions of the detainees created significant obstacles to the timely conduct of mobilization activities, which are critically important for the country’s defense capability. Thanks to the operational actions of the SBU investigators, these suspicious activities were halted.

It should be noted that according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, an accusation is not evidence of a person’s guilt, and their culpability must be proven in court.
