Another case of illegal hunting has been recorded in the Lviv region.
This was reported by the State Ecological Inspectorate of the Lviv region.
On 23.11.2024, the Inspectorate’s specialists, together with employees of the Peremyshlyany District Society of Hunters and Fishermen “Lisivnyk”, took measures to prevent and detect administrative offences in the Lviv district, during which they revealed violations of hunting rules in hunting grounds near the village of Lagodiv.
As a result of illegal hunting, four people killed three female roe deer. An investigative team was working on the incident.
The damage caused to the hunting grounds of the Peremyshlyany District Hunting and Fishing Association “Lisivnyk” is preliminarily estimated at UAH 96,000.
The seized three roes were sent for examination. During the final examination (pathological autopsy), the amount of damage will be recalculated, as each individual may have embryos, for which damages of UAH 16,000 are charged for each.
Materials are being prepared for submission to law enforcement agencies.
