In the past 24 hours, rescue workers have responded to 19 calls due to grass fires, which have devastating consequences for the Lviv region. These fires have engulfed more than 6,300 square metres of land, turning vibrant nature into ash.
One of the fires in the village of Mezhyrichchia in the Sheptytskyi district ended in tragedy, with a life lost. The fire is merciless: it does not stop at the yard, does not discern grass from houses and property, and if not controlled in time, can destroy everything in its path.
These statistics serve as a reminder of the importance of handling fire carefully to prevent tragedies capable of turning lives upside down.
