In the village of Bartativ in Lviv district, following a collision between a MAN lorry and two cars, a LADA and a KIA, people were left trapped inside one of the vehicles.
The Rescue Service received a report of the road traffic collision on 06 July at 10:39. When the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and a passenger were trapped in the LADA and in need of assistance.
Using specialist equipment, the rescuers freed the two casualties from the mangled LADA and carried them to an ambulance.
A total of 9 rescuers and 2 units of specialist equipment were involved in dealing with the aftermath of the collision. The causes and circumstances of the crash are being established by law enforcement agencies.
