A 52-year-old resident of Brody was convicted for possession of ammunition and drug trafficking.
Zolochiv District Prosecutor’s Office proved his guilt in the illegal possession and sale of narcotics. The taxi driver was sentenced to 6 years in prison with confiscation of property.
“The accused organized a scheme for the illegal cannabis sale in the Brody area,”
– reported the prosecutor’s office. He sold drugs directly while working as a taxi driver, receiving money immediately after delivering the “goods.”
During searches at his home and in his car, drugs were seized, as well as over 40 rounds of ammunition for a Kalashnikov rifle.
Until the verdict comes into legal force, the man will remain in custody. The court decision will take effect after the appeal period ends.
