In Lviv, on Lystopadovoho Chynu Street, at around 12:00 on 18 October, a conflict broke out between a group of individuals, which escalated into a fight. This was reported by Lviv District Police Department No.1.
As a result of the incident, a 23-year-old man sustained bodily injuries and was taken to a medical facility.
Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). The article provides for a penalty of restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, with law enforcement officers interviewing those involved in the incident and establishing all the circumstances of the fight.
