
In Davydiv, on 29th April at 05:46, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in a residential building. Upon the rescuers’ arrival at the scene, smoke was billowing from the building’s windows.
The police were the first to arrive and managed to carry out a man born in 1967 from the building’s corridor, handing him over to medical personnel for assistance. Unfortunately, despite resuscitation efforts, he was pronounced dead. During a search, rescuers discovered the deceased owner of the house, a man born in 1971, in one of the rooms.
The fire was contained by 06:12 and extinguished by 06:34. Eight rescuers and two units of specialised equipment were involved in extinguishing the blaze. The causes and circumstances of the fire are still being determined.
