A tragic road traffic incident occurred on 16 April at approximately 14:00 in a forested area near the village of Davydiv, located in the Lviv district. A 17-year-old driver of a quad bike, who resided in this area, lost control of the vehicle, leading to it veering off the dirt road and overturning.
Regrettably, due to the severe injuries sustained in the accident, the minor died at the scene of the incident. In response to this, the Lviv Region Police have opened a criminal investigation under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for violation of road traffic safety rules. Currently, law enforcement officers are continuing to ascertain the details of the incident.
