Fire in Drohobych broke out on 9 August at around 17:46 in a brick building on Olzhycha Street. The Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the blaze.
The fire started on the second floor and spread over an area of about 24 sq. m. Firefighters contained the blaze at 18:09 and fully extinguished it at 18:38.
Thanks to the swift actions of the firefighters, the building was saved from destruction. According to the rescuers, no one was injured in the incident.
Specialists are establishing the causes and circumstances of the fire.
