In Drohobych on Hrushevskoho Street, a fire broke out in three metal garages. The Rescue Service “101” was alerted to the blaze on 6 August at 19:26.
By the time firefighters arrived, one garage was burning over an area of about 3 sq. m, while the other two were completely engulfed in flames. Thanks to the swift actions of the firefighters, it was possible to prevent the fire from spreading and to stop four neighbouring garages from being destroyed.
The fire was contained at 20:17 and fully extinguished at 20:29. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
Experts are establishing the causes of the fire and the circumstances of the incident.
